Tiger Mosquitos

I have read that the tiger mosquitos are terrible in Florence, even in cooler months.

We will be there in October -- what can you tell me? I have a severe reaction to bug bites. I have read that very few hotels use screen and that the mosquitos get into hotel rooms.

Yes, mosquitoes are a problem, and tiger mosquitoes too. And yes, you can find some in October, even in hotels and basically everywhere.

Don't worry, you just need to use a lot of repellent - here the most used one is called VAPE spray - and in your accommodation use a Vape plug-in. These work very well also on Tigers!
